Barack Obama

Barack Obama was elected the 44th President of the United States in 2008, becoming the first African American to hold the office. Over two terms he signed the Affordable Care Act into law, ended the Great Recession, ordered the operation that killed Osama bin Laden, and negotiated the Paris Climate Agreement. Before the presidency he served as a U.S. Senator from Illinois and taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago.

“Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time.”
