Martin Luther King Jr.

Dr. King was a Baptist minister and the moral engine of the American Civil Rights Movement. He led the Montgomery Bus Boycott, the March on Washington, and the Selma-to-Montgomery marches, delivering the "I Have a Dream" speech that reframed the American conscience. He won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1964 for his commitment to nonviolent resistance, and his words remain the country's most quoted call to justice.

“The time is always right to do what is right.”
